We’ve been receiving lots of emails and Facebook messages asking us questions about coming to the patch. We’ve answered some of them below:
Will it be mucky there?
Well it is a field and the muck is what makes it fun. If you’re allergic to muck then this is not the place for you. In previous years we’ve had great fun watching people in high heels get themselves stuck. If you do wear your fancy shoes, we will laugh! Go put your wellies in the car now.
I notice you’re sold out, could I still get a ticket?
Will you still open if it’s raining?
We’ll definitely be open and all of our staff will be wearing appropriate clothing for typical October weather. Put your rain coat in the car (with the wellies)
Can we bring an extra person and pay at the gate?
Unfortunately not. We’re completely sold out.
Can we bring the dog?
If the dog is on a lead and potty trained then absolutely. We love dogs. If Rover wees on a pumpkin, you’ll need to buy it!!
Can we bring the cat?
Do you have baby changing facilities?
We provide many hay bales in the yard. It’s how we do stuff here in the country and baby loves it.
Do you take credit cards?
Cash only. The 4G signal is awful around here so those new fangled machines won’t work.
Is the patch wheelchair accessible?
Predominantly yes. You’ll need an off road wheelchair to get to the pumpkins but we have an accessible yard and cafe.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. If you have the ticket on your phone or tablet then we can scan it from there.
What time should we arrive?
Your ticket will be for either the morning (11 until 2) or afternoon (2 until 5). Please arrive at anytime during your designed slot although we do close at 5pm!
